TuGo Welcomes Industry Leader Cathy Nurmi as VP, Claims at TuGo
- TuGo, one of Canada’s top travel insurance providers, is pleased to announce that well-known industry leader, Cathy Nurmi, has joined its leadership team as Vice President, Claims at TuGo®, effective today.
In her new role, Cathy will lead the Claims at TuGo Administration, Medical Assistance and Cost Management teams in strategic planning and achieving operational and service-level goals.

Cathy brings extensive leadership experience in the insurance industry, with organizations including Pacific Blue Cross, Sports Insurance.com & Adventure Insurance, Sports-Can Insurance Consultants Ltd., and Oceanic Underwriters & Premier Marine Underwriting Managers. She recently completed her MBA through York St. John University with a specialization in Leadership, Innovation & Change, as well as an MSc in International Business through Salford University. Cathy holds her CAIB and a Level 2 BC Insurance Council designation.
