TuGo’s Emergency Medical Insurance Now Offers COVID-19 Coverage, Regardless of Travel Advisory Level
Effective today, November 30, TuGo has taken further steps beyond covering COVID-19 for vaccinated and unvaccinated Canadian travellers under a Level 3 (“avoid non-essential travel”) advisory, to also covering them under a Level 4 (“avoid all travel”) advisory—subject to vaccination requirements outlined in the policy.
New Trip Cancellation & Trip Interruption Insurance COVID-19 & Cancel For Any Reason enhancements added
Also beginning today, TuGo will provide coverage for Canadians who must cancel or interrupt their trip as a result of a medical condition related to COVID-19. TuGo’s Cancel For Any Reason featurehas also been updated to ensure increased flexibility, allowing customers who purchase this add-on feature to cancel up to 5 days (previously 10 days) before departure for any reason, and receive 50% of their pre-paid, unused non-refundable travel costs.
