For the 2nd year in a row, TuGo, one of Canada’s top travel insurance providers, is proud to requalify as a Platinum Club member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.-
“As we enter a new decade, it’s with gratitude and pride that we announce our Platinum Club member requalification with Canada’s Best Managed,” says Patrick Robinson, CEO, TuGo. “Our unwavering focus to help Canadians travel pushes us to provide superior emergency medical and claims assistance, adapt to our customers’ needs and market conditions, and enable our insurance partners with ongoing support across British Columbia and the entire nation, is a true driver of 56 years of business success.”
From multilingual customer service support to 24/7 emergency assistance when travellers are at their most vulnerable, TuGo truly demonstrates how it stands alongside the country’s best-in-class companies. Canada’s Best Managed Companies applicants are evaluated by an independent judging panel on the merits of clear and concise strategies, investing and R&D capabilities, and organizations with a strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility.
“To put ourselves in the travellers’ shoes, we’re going beyond travel medical. In addition to world-class assistance and claims management services, we’re also offering advancements, including MyFlyt—TuGo’s complimentary flight delay service for travel insurance customers—and we’re continuing to find ways to push the envelope with new and improved services that reinforce our best-in-class reputation,” says Robinson.
“Businesses today are faced with many challenges and must stay focused and agile in order to sustain and drive growth. They need to demonstrate resilience and commitment to their people, their purpose and their competitive position in the Canadian business world and this year’s Best Managed winners are doing just that,” says Peter Brown, Partner, Deloitte Private Partner and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. “These companies can celebrate their accomplishments today and should be excited for tomorrow.”
